Tottenham Hotspur preseason 2013 Tour begins in Bahamas
Tottenham Hotspur recently announced the first 2013 preseason match as the London side will face off against the Jamaican national team. The club versus country friendly will be played in the Bahamas on May 23.
The exhibition, per Tottenham's official website, will be played at the new 15,000-seat Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium on Paradise Island. Spurs will be the first-ever Premier League side to visit the islands nation as the match aims to help celebrate the Bahamas' 40th anniversary of independence.
The match benefits Jamaica as well; the national team faces battles Mexico in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying action the following week.
